At Production Events, ASN hosts Make-A-Wish Families on Practice Day leading up to the Event. This gives children and their families the opportunity to watch the show and followed by meet and greets with the Military jet performers.
The Bob Hoover Academy, founded by Sean D. Tucker, changes young lives through the the magic of flight in Salinas, CA . BHA offers weekly ground school, flight training in both their airplane and full-motion flight simulator, as well as fun and educational field trips throughout the aviation industry.
ASN has sponsored graduates through the program and has been a supporter of the school since its inception.
America’s Gold Star Families is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created to provide honor, hope and healing to those grieving any military loss through active duty service. We include all family members representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstances of death. America’s Gold Star Families honors our fallen heroes who served in the United States Armed Forces and cares for their survivors through programs and services at no cost to the survivors.
At Production Shows, ASN hosts local Gold Star Families for a BBQ lunch and viewing of Practice day (closed to the general public) leading up to the event.
Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee is one of the largest and most comprehensive of more than 200 food banks and food distribution centers nationwide. During FY22, Second Harvest distributed more than 41.6 million pounds of food to more than 450 Partner Agencies, providing more than 35.2 million meals to hungry children, families, and seniors throughout our 46-county service area.
ASN in partnership with the Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport Authority works with Second Harvest Food Bank as a dedicated recipient for fund raised during the Great Tennessee Air Show.
Unity Shoppe located in Santa Barbara, CA is dedicated to providing residents impacted by temporary conditions of poverty, natural disaster or health crisis with resources, including groceries, clothing, and other essentials, that reinforce human dignity and encourage self-sufficiency and independence. Unity Shoppe has a "store" where community members facing financial hardship can shop for groceries at no cost to their families.
Each December, the ASN team fills dozens carts of groceries, purchases the product and delivers them in person to the Unity Shoppe to give back to our hometown community.
