Santa Barbara, CA (December 9, 2022) The Air Show Network announced today that long-time executive, Gregory “Judge” Smales, has been promoted to President & Chief Operating Officer of the company. Jim Breen will retain the posts of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“Judge has been a leader and valuable partner in our company’s growth over his 33 years with us,” said Breen, the company's founder. “He will be integral in helping the company meet its revenue growth goals over the next five years and maintain its leadership role in the Air Show industry.”
The Air Show Network is in the process of developing five new Air Show markets and plans to double its concessions, merchandise and seating business.
“I am incredibly proud and humbled by Jim’s (Breen) confidence in me and offering me this important role in the future of The Air Show Network," said Smales. “Virtually my entire professional career has been spent in helping build the company into the leader in Air Shows throughout North America and I’m excited about the future challenge to aggressively grow the business further.”
The Air Show Network is entering its 40th year in business in 2023.
