@DudeDad's ride with the Blue Angels

@DudeDad Taylor Calmus is the star of Super Dad on Discovery + and Magnolia Network who got his start with his YouTube channel, "Dude Dad" as a platform to teach men how to do projects with or for their kids and help develop their parent-child bond.  As his popularity grew, his homed in on his mission of building a culture of engaged fathers that are confident in their role and active in their children’s lives.

In 2019, Taylor challenged Chip Gaines from HGTV’s Fixer Upper fame (with wife, Joanna Gaines), to a playground build-off as a fundraiser for St. Jude. Gaines accepted which led to them raising a whopping $1.5 million for St. Jude.

Whether raising funds for National charities, contributing to Local Colorado charities who receive a portion of “Dude Dad” merchandise sales, or personally touching the lives of children with cancer or part of the Make A Wish Foundation, he strives to make an impact on those less fortunate.

At the core of it, Taylor uses his platform to show others how to a good parent and good person though his words and his actions. We loved that about him and thought his values aligned with the Blue Angels' mission of inspiring a culture of excellence.

ASN nominated him for a VIP ride with the Blue Angels leading up to the Great Colorado Air Show, Oct. 16 & 17, 2021. The Blue Angels approved Taylor so off he went for a ride.
